Rick Statile has been an in house lawyer at Red Hat since 2005, helping support its growth to a $2+ billion revenue and 10,000+ employee company. During the last 12 years Rick has provided leadership both domestically and internationally across a broad range of legal disciplines, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracting (customer, vendor and partner), facilities, intellectual property and licensing, employment, compliance and ethics, corporate governance, and public company securities reporting. Rick also serves as Red Hat’s data privacy and security lawyer, leading its compliance efforts and assisting Red Hat’s commercial lawyers on privacy and security issues in contracts with customers and vendors.
Prior to joining Red Hat, Rick was in private practice for seven years at Kilpatrick Townsend, Smith Anderson, and Hogan Lovells.
